HOSHO, the new ” sales by the bed ” accommodation concept of the “Louvre Hotels Group” (France), is deploying customised interactive kiosks designed by AURES.

HOSHO is one of the latest innovative accommodation concepts to be launched in early 2021 by Louvre Hotels Group, the second largest hotel Group in France.

The establishment is equipped with AURES kiosks for the check-in/check-out of its customers and guests.

Located in the south of Paris, near the “Porte d’Italie” in “Kremlin Bicêtre”, HOSHO is a pioneer in quality, low-cost accommodation, with a bed priced at just €20 per night; its exclusive positioning between a hotel and a “hostel” or “youth hostel” offers unrivalled value for money, within an establishment offering an ultra-comfortable, contemporary and trendy urban style, with an emphasis on bright colours and “pop” design.

The place has 236 “bed-cabins” offered individually and distributed into 39 rooms with private shower and separate toilets; called “dream-stations”, these “bed-capsule rooms” are pleasant cocoons, modern and fully equipped.

HOSHO also offers a range of additional services, including co-working spaces, a kitchen, a bar, a designer laundry, vending machines for light meals and additional lockers for residents’ personal belongings.

“With HOSHO, we have created a new market segment for smart consumers who want a safe, comfortable and affordable experience in the heart of Paris. If our guests approve this new customer experience and journey, our ambition is to develop HOSHO in European capitals and medium-sized cities,” concludes Françoise HOUDEBINE, VP Marketing of Louvre Hotels Group.

For a smoother customer journey with self-service access at all times, Louvre Hotels Group and HOSHO have chosen to equip themselves with KALEA interactive check-in and check-out kiosks from AURES Technologies.

KALEA: the advantages

Developed and manufactured in France by AURES Technologies primarily for the hospitality industry, but also for the transport, tourism and service sectors, the KALEA kiosk is based on the AURES YUNO system (15, 17 and 21 inch wide with PCAP multi-touch screens).

KALEA comes with an integrated payment terminal (VERIFONE or INGENICO), as well as a system for printing receipts, tickets and vouchers.

A 2D barcode reader, a RFID reader/encoder, a badge and card dispenser (badges and access keys) are also available, as well as a passport reader and scanner.

Entirely customizable, the housing cabinet that supports the KALEA structure is a non-standard piece of furniture, made to measure, on a case-by-case basis and according to the needs of the customers and users.
