Back in 2020 we published a case study featuring the awesome karting and outdoor activities venue Whilton Mill. We worked with Whilton Mill to achieve one of their objectives which was to boost the overall customer experience.

Installing several YUNO EPOS systems for their newly refurbished clubhouse bistro and 4 x 21.5” YUNO kiosks in the reception area. Here we speak again to Daniel Whittemore, Sales & Marketing Director to find out how they are getting on now they are now back up and running post-covid and what impact our hardware has had on the overall customer experience.

What Benefits have you seen from using the YUNO Kiosks?

“The YUNO kiosks a have first and foremost helped in reducing queues and general waiting times for customers. The kiosks keep the reception area clear. People can check in for the activities much quicker than before and then get out there and get on with their action-packed activity day! Faster fulfilment certainly does equal greater customer satisfaction resulting in our main objection which was to boost the overall customer experience.”

Whittemore also said of the YUNO kiosks; “They take the queues away from the main desk and this also means that everything is digitally recorded rather than having to store paper files for many years.”

So not only have the YUNO kiosks helped to create a quicker, smoother transaction for the customers but from a back-office point of view, admin has become a much tidier process too. No bits of paper, files and folders that needed to be keep for years taking up space, and generally looking untidy.

How have you found the YUNO EPOS systems?

“The YUNO terminals in the bistro have helped us raise the bar in terms of professionalism and make a noticeable good first impression on customers as they arrive. They have also helped speed up the process of taking orders and sharing them with the kitchen in a much more efficient way. Orders are taken and sent through in an instant and payments could not be easier.”

It’s safe to say that now the venue is fully operational again post-covid, Whilton Mill are giving their customers a great experience from start to finish, whilst also keeping them safe with space being created thanks to the YUNO Kiosks.
