After a 5-year break from Karting we brought it back!
18 teams of our partners and customers took part in two endurance races driving the Sodi RT8 Pro-Karts on the 1200m International Circuit at Whilton Mill in Daventry and the weather was even on side!
After a bite to eat, everyone collected their race suits and helmets, (some pros amongst the group had their own!) huddled round for the safety talk and then off onto the circuit for a few practice laps and grid positioning. There was a one-and-a-half-hour session in the morning followed by a delicious BBQ style buffet lunch and a second one-and-a-half-hour race in the afternoon. Then the top 3 teams took to the podium to be presented with trophies and champagne!
Fastest lap time for the day came from our very own UK Sales Director Jason Southern with 1:01.266!
